Joel Meister comes to Solar Grid Storage from the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) where he worked on behalf of renewable energy project developers on a variety of legal and financial matters. Mr. Meister routinely analyzed business trends and policy developments for member companies, as well as played an instrumental role in establishing SEIA's Finance and Tax Seminar. His research into the complexities of renewable energy financing has been recognized by leading law firms, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and numerous energy policy organizations.
Prior to joining SEIA, Mr. Meister worked at the Center for Global Development, focusing on obstacles to financing international clean energy technologies. Before then he served in various press, communications, and policy roles for elected officials at the state and federal level.
Mr. Meister holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School (pending bar admission). He earned his BA cum laude from The George Washington University.
